Welcome to indiereq! These Terms govern your use of our feedback platform for indie developers.

1. Description of the Service
indiereq allows developers to create public or private boards where users can submit, comment on, and upvote feedback or feature requests.
2. User Accounts
- • You can sign in using third-party providers (e.g. Google or GitHub) or interact anonymously
- • You are responsible for any activity under your account
- • You must not impersonate others or submit false information
3. User Content
You retain ownership of any content you submit, including feedback, comments, and requests.
By submitting content, you grant us a non-exclusive, royalty-free license to use, display, and distribute it as part of the Service.
You agree not to post:
- • Spam or commercial promotions
- • Hateful, harmful, or illegal content
- • Content that infringes on intellectual property rights
We reserve the right to remove content or suspend accounts that violate these rules.
4. Anonymous Users
Users who don't sign in may still submit content or vote. These sessions are tracked using browser storage or cookies. Anonymous users may lose access to their content if browser data is cleared.
5. Payments and Billing
If you choose a paid plan (e.g. for board hosting), billing will be handled via Stripe. You are responsible for maintaining valid payment information and complying with any pricing terms provided at checkout.
6. Termination
You may stop using indiereq at any time. We may suspend or terminate access if:

- • You abuse the platform or spam other users
- • You use the Service in a harmful or unlawful way
Deleted accounts and content may be permanently removed.
7. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
- • Uptime or availability
- • Accuracy or completeness of content
- • That the Service will be error-free or secure
Use the platform at your own risk.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent allowed by law, indiereq is not liable for:
- • Any indirect or incidental damages
- • Loss of data, revenue, or business
- • Content submitted by users
9. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Ohio, USA, without regard to its conflict of laws principles.
10. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms occasionally. We'll notify users of major changes via the site or email. Continued use after changes means you accept the updated Terms.
